The handlebar position on a recumbent does two jobs. It gives you something to hold for stability, and it houses the pulse sensors. How far forward those handles sit determines how much you have to reach, and how much you have to reach determines how much you round your back to get there.
If you have limited thoracic mobility or a stiff lower back, a long reach turns a low-impact machine into a nagging one. Sit on the bike you buy, grab the handles, and notice whether you are staying tall or slumping forward to make contact. If you are slumping, use the side grips and skip the pulse reading. Posture beats data.
The LCD Screens and the Phone Holder Problem
Both consoles do the same job at roughly the same level of sophistication, which is to say: basic, readable, and fine. Nobody is buying either of these bikes for the display.
The real issue is what happens when you park your phone or tablet in the holder, because on a lot of these bikes that is exactly where the screen lives. Cover the console with an iPad and your metrics disappear for the whole ride. Since almost everyone on a recumbent is watching something, that is not a hypothetical problem, it is the default use case.
Check where the device tray sits relative to the readout before you buy. If it blocks the screen, decide now whether you care. Honestly? Most people stop looking at the console after week two and just ride for time. That is a perfectly good way to train.
So Which One Should You Buy?
